 In the B.Ed. curriculum for the English departement, a cognitive map for the topic of Braving the Hazards and The lighter side serves as a structured framework to enhance conceptual understanding and effective teaching strategies. Braving the hazards comprises of an Essay named “Disaster and disaster management in India” by Anjana Majumdar ,Story named “The Serang of Ranaganji” by AJ Cronin and a poem named “The wreck of the titanic” by Benjamin Peck Keith. The Lighter Side comprises of a short story named “Crime and Punishment” by RK Narayanan, A one act play named “Post early for christmas” by RH Wood and and a poem named “This is going to hurt a little bit” by Ogden Nash 

 The last day of teaching practice. That day, as usual, I reached the school and marked the attendance. Since I had to collect data for the project, I collected data from the 8 D class and other classes. I helped serve lunch.  Since it was the last day, we bought snacks for the school teachers. Their kind words will always remain an inspiration and help us cherish the teaching phase of our lives. Afterward, I got the records signed and signed the attendance register. At 3:45 PM, I left for home. It was a truly wonderful teaching experience provided by Poruvazhi School.

 All the children returned to school after the Christmas holidays with great joy. 30/12/2024, Monday On that day, as usual, I arrived at school and marked attendance. In class 8D, I taught the new chapter in english “The school of sympathy ”The children listened very attentively and with great enthusiasm. In class 9A, I got the substitution as well as in 10 D 31/12/2024, Tuesday On this day, in class 8D, I taught the chapter “The School of Sympathy ”.Later, Shalini Teacher distributed the Christmas exam papers to the students and explained the questions. After lunch, the english paper for class 8D was distributed, and the questions were explained. 1/1/2025, Wednesday On the first day of the New Year, during the 2nd period, I took a substitution class for 10C. Later, I took the students of class 8B to PT (Physical Training). After lunch, in class 8D,I taught The school of sympathy . As part of the lesson, I introduced my innovative work .
